Hair Oil
Hair oils are typically used in one of two ways: as a lightweight finishing oil applied to dry hair for shine and to tame frizz, or as a deeper treatment applied before washing to help nourish and protect hair strands. This hair oil can work either way, depending on how much you use and when in your routine you apply it.
Oils sit on top of the hair strand rather than penetrating deeply the way a leave-in conditioner might, which is part of why a little goes a long way — using too much can leave hair looking greasy rather than glossy.
How to use it:
For a light, everyday finish, warm one or two drops between your palms and smooth over dry hair, focusing on the ends rather than the roots, where oil is more likely to look greasy. For a deeper pre-wash treatment, apply a slightly larger amount through dry or damp hair, leave it for 20–30 minutes (or longer, even overnight, if your hair tolerates it well), then shampoo out as normal.
A few honest notes:
Start with less than you think you need — it’s easy to add more, harder to remove excess. Hair type affects how much oil is right for you: finer hair generally needs less, thicker or drier hair can usually handle more.
